This has been an exciting month at Savory Sweets Fundraising! We announced and surprised our Grand Prize Winner from the Jan-June period. If you aren’t aware- Savory Sweets Fundraising offers a Grand Prize Drawing for anyone who sells 25 items. Their name goes into a drawing along with everyone else who has sold the 25 items (or increments thereof!) to possibly win either a $5,000 College Scholarship or a $5,000 Vacation Voucher to Orlando Florida!

Our winner for this first period was 12 year old Makenzey from Michigan. She was actually the only person in her 6th grade class to qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing. Amy Bay (Vice President of Sales) Patricia Anson (Sales Rep- Grand Rapids) and myself went over and surprised her during a back to school assembly in front of the whole school! Maria: What was your reaction when you found out that you won?

Makenzey: no way really?!?

Maria: What was the first thought you had?

Makenzey: never knew someone that actually won something big like this!

Maria: What are you looking forward to most?

Makenzey: Going to Disney World! Having fun with the family! Making new memories!

Maria: Is there anything else you’d like to add?
