End of Summer Fun
Summer days around my house mean lazy days by the pool or on the boat, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, or driving to Marching Band practice, summer camp or gymnastics. The kids and I decided we needed to do something fun- so we tie dyed shirts! It was fun for all of us, and the kids range from 16-8. We rounded up a bunch of white t-shirts and tank tops, put on some rubber gloves, watched a couple you-tube videos and went to town!
Supplies: White t-shirt, tank top, socks, towel, pillow case Tie Dye kit Rubber bands
Plastic buckets or tin baking pans (we used dollar store tins)
How To: Scrunch up a section of your shirt and wrap a rubber band around it tight. Continue until you are happy with it!
Pour the color onto the shirt. It’s best to use gloves so your hands don’t get all colored. Mix and match colors!
Let the shirt sit!
Rinse it out and hang it up to dry.
Wash in the sink before you wear it and then TA DA! Tie Dye awesomeness!
