We’ve Got Your Back
When my son was in 6th grade, he ran for student council. They were required to do a short speech in front of the class and a lot of kids made campaign poster. My silly guy went with the slogan- “I’ve got your back” and a stick figure drawing. A lot like this meme above.
I was cleaning a closet out the other day and I came across his poster. It got me thinking about what that actually means and how it fits into today’s world. What does it mean to truly have someone’s back? So, I did what I always do when I’m not sure on the answer of something- I googled it. The definition that really struck a cord was the one from Urban Dictionary. (yes, I know it’s a great source)
When someone has your back, they are there to support you unconditionally. When life seems to blindside you with undesirable events, they’re there for you without complaint, supporting you in your moment of need, not for their own selfish, self gratifying reasons, but because your well being to them is foremost in their mind and heart.
You have some big obstacles to go through, but remember I've got your back.
This spring, we all went through some undesirable life changing events. I was on a zoom meeting with the PTO board that I am on and one of our biggest struggles right now is not having enough money in our account for all the fall things that we have planned, because we missed our spring fundraiser. Well, here is where Savory Foods comes into play. We’ve got your back. We are here to help you get those additional funds that you might be lacking- because your well being is important to us. We are creative thinkers- so if the standard fundraiser isn’t looking like an option- let’s talk it out! We can work together to figure out a way to help you be successful and still say safe. Our trained staff is ready with different options for you to consider and meet all of your needs.
Have no fear- Savory Foods is here!
