Our fresh cookie dough is made with pasteurized eggs. However, our dough has other raw ingredients and is made with the intended use of the consumer baking it. You should not eat our dough raw, just as you should not eat a raw cookie dough made from scratch at home. Savory Sweets insists on baking the dough into cookies to eliminate any chance of bacteria.Concerning food allergies: Does Homestyle Ready-to-Bake Cookies contain nuts?
Some flavors do contain nuts. Our facility uses nuts in manufacturing of several of our recipes. If you have a severe allergy to nuts, please be advised that any of our products may contain peanut residue, or other forms of residue from nut products. Our nutrition facts and ingredients are available online here at our website.
Yes, Savory Sweets Homestyle Ready-To-Bake Cookies are Certified Kosher by Organized Kashruth Labs. This means our delicious flavors can be enjoyed by everyone, while respecting a tradition that goes back thousands of years. This is important in today's society and it could be even more important to your friends and loved ones.If your cookie dough was accidentally left out of refrigeration for 2 days, is it still safe to eat? It has since been frozen.
As with any product requiring refrigeration, if you allow the product to reach temperatures above 45 degrees for any length of time, you are inviting potential bacteria. (You mention leaving the dough out of refrigeration for 48 hours). The ingredients begin to separate and don't bake up like they normally would. Our recommendation would be to discard the dough. You can contact the person/organization you purchased the dough from to buy more!Where in the United States do you offer your fund-raising products?
Everywhere in the continental U.S.
Yes, the answer is yes! We have already had People To People Ambassador program individuals sell. The group name we'd list "People To People Ambassador" c/o Your Son's Name. Please send us your full name, address, city, state, zip and phone and we'd be happy to have our fundraising consultants in your area get you the information needed to line up a sale! How many cookies on average does one 3 lb. Cookie Cube™ produce?
Each Cookie Cube™ makes about 48 one ounce cookies.
You can refrigerate our cookie dough if you plan to use by the date printed on the Cookie Cube™, or freeze cookie dough up to 6 months.
Our suggestion is to portion the dough when received if you plan on using a little bit at a time. This prevents having to freeze and thaw and re-freeze. The dough will be okay, but each time you repeat this process the dough has the potential to lose a little flavor and may not bake up as high.
We use only pasteurized eggs and the freshest natural ingredients in all our recipes. Our suggested frozen shelf life is six months for awesome tasting cookies! The dough is safe beyond the six months, however, it may not taste as fresh as it would have if baked and eaten within the dates of our freshness guarantee.
Sorry, part of what makes our cookie dough so unique is the fact that it is available only through a fund-raiser. But here's an idea, why not suggest our cookie dough to a non-profit organization in your area...like a church, school, little league, etc. They'll raise the funds they need for their activities, and you can start them off right by being their first customer!
Yes we do have minimums. Anything under our minimum would have to be set up with your sales consultant on an individual basis. Please call 1-800-878-2583 Ext 122 to find the salesperson near you.Should the sales force collect the money for the cookie dough in advance?
It makes it a whole lot easier for the coordinator to have the money in advance so they don't have to try to collect AFTER the person already received the product. It also finalizes the sale for you by having the money on the turn-in date. After that, all you do is wait for the dough to arrive, and for sure they will come to pick-up dough they have ALREADY paid for!How is my order delivered?
Delivery will be either on a refrigerated Savory Truck, or in a custom cooler box, depending on the size of your order and your state.
Allergen Notice: Our products are manufactured in a facility that also produces peanut and treenut products.
